Butterfly Thyroid Cancer Trust  is the first registered charity in the UK dedicated solely to the support of patients with Thyroid Cancer.

The charity offers information and support to people throughout the UK. The organisation works closely with the Multidisciplinary Thyroid Cancer Team in Newcastle upon Tyne to ensure that the information on their website is accurate, relevant and up-to-date

The British Thyroid Foundation is an UK-based patient support organisationdedicated to supporting people with thyroid disorders and helping their families and people around them to understand the condition. The aims of the BTF are to help improve understanding of thyroid disease; represent the patient perspective to medical professionals; offer a peer support network and fund research into thyroid function and thyroid disease to improve patient outcomes.

The BFT works in close partnership with the British Thyroid Association (BTA) and the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS). All their patient literature is endorsed by the BTA and BAETS.
